Curry Girls Kitchen were in need of a full website rehaul and were looking to revamp their brand identity altogether. The existing brand was all over the place and the goal was to bring it all together. We weren’t looking to re-start but mostly revamp in an effort to build a cohesive storyline that people resonate with.
One of the bigger obstacles we faced was the obvious Curry vs. curry (their last name vs. the food). To better differentiate themselves, we heavily focused on getting clear about WHO they are, WHAT they do, and WHO they serve which helps provide new visitors a clear understanding of the brand.
Now, when you land on their website, you are able to digest who they are and what they do all within 2 seconds of scanning the homepage. Their services include private cooking classes, online and in-person cleanse workshops, functional medicine/holistic wellness coaching, food therapy, and a whole lot more. With such a diverse set of services, it’s more important than ever to have laser-focused design and content to make it easy for visitors to navigate and digest.
Another project goal was to create efficient and consistent navigation on the site. The previous layout was not properly categorized and visitors struggled to locate specific recipes or blogs. You are now able to easily navigate the website and recall any past post you may be looking for.
I was also able to assist in designing landing and sales pages to better promote their fall online “Cleanse with Food” program, which is launching this month. If you’re interested, be sure to check them out!
